It’s getting easier and easier to find a laptop at a decent price these days. The fact is that more of them are being made and the more that they make the cheaper they get. Also when a newer more capable laptop comes out, its basic supply and demand, everyone wants the new “cool” laptop that just came out so the price of the older laptop that no one wants anymore goes down.
This could be your chance to jump on it, get a new laptop, and call it a day but in my experience you should ask a few questions first. Number one, does this computer have the technology i need? I’ve seen friends come home very disappointed after purchasing a Dell Mini (which we will get into in a moment) and finding out this tiny computer has no disc drive.
Number two, is brand name an issue? If not you can usually get an Acer brand laptop for pretty cheap, they aren’t really name brand but they get the job done. Number three, have i considered buying a used laptop and the dangers associated with buying used laptops? Used laptops are great if you can buy them from someone you trust and not that guy on the internet trying to make a quick dollar off of that junkie, virus infested laptop in the corner.
So today I’m going to tell you a little about a few different laptops under 300 dollars. First off we have the Dell Mini laptops, they have a very basic mini laptop called a Dell Inspiron for 259.99 on the Dell website. It has a 10.1 inch screen and is easy to tote around on the go weighing in at 3 lbs. It also has over seven hours of battery life and a built in webcam and microphone but like i stated earlier you will not have a disc drive.
Also on the laptops under 300 dollar list is the Acer Aspire as listed on new egg, it has a 15.6” screen, 250 GB HDD, has an Intel Celeron 900, DVD super multi Intel GMA 4500M, and it’s total comes to 299.99. Next up on the laptops under 300 dollars list is the new mini netbook laptop notebook with wifi and windows. It is made by a generic manufacturer and because of this eglobal wireless can offer it to you at $99.99. It comes with a 7″ screen, it’s lightweight at 1.6 lbs and it has great product feedback that you can see on the website.
Another reason this website is so awesome is that you can choose to buy the computers that were shipped and the boxes were damaged or opened for only 79.99. Its the same computer, it just had a little more stress in shipping for that price. They also offer these little laptops in a variety of colors including pink, green, red, white and black and they are designed based on advanced micro “windows on the chip” technology. Lastly i would like to add that if you’re looking for a specific brand name or type of laptop, don’t hesitate to hit up an online resale store for factory refurbished items.
These are laptops that are broken under a warranty, sent back to the seller, then the seller sends the warranted person a new laptop and the company fixes and resales it as “factory refurbished”, which to me means “It may not be new but it’s pretty close”.
